# Gems @ The Arts

> A welcoming, community-powered arts and enrichment hub in Framingham, Massachusetts. We bring youth, families, artists, and neighbors together through arts programming, the Brighter Futures Summer Series, community markets, venue rentals, and free events rooted in dignity, belonging, and joy.

## About

Gems @ The Arts is a 501(c)(3) community organization headquartered at 160 Hollis Street, Framingham, MA 01702. We serve the MetroWest region of Massachusetts with year-round arts, enrichment, and community programming. Our work is free or low-cost wherever possible, and we offer trilingual support in English, Spanish, and Portuguese to reflect the communities we serve.

Founded as a creative home for the Framingham community, Gems blends visual arts, music, dance, spoken word, food, and intergenerational gathering into a single living space. We are not a venue you visit — we are a place you become part of.

## What We Do

- **Arts programming** — visual arts, music, dance, spoken word, theatre, local artist residencies, workshops, performances.
- **Enrichment** — Brighter Futures Summer Series (June–August), daily park enrichment for youth, mobile market days with live music, year-round workshops and mentorship.
- **Community** — celebrations, cultural events, intergenerational gatherings, civic conversations, family-centered programming.
- **Venue rentals** — historic restored space available for weddings, meetings, performances, milestones, and community gatherings. Discounted rates for nonprofits, artists, and community organizations.
- **Brighter Futures Music Festival** — flagship two-day music, food, and arts festival in downtown Framingham, August 1–2, 2026. Free and open to all.
